Wuhan SYP Kangqiao Autoglass Co., Ltd., (“WSYPA”) with an investment of RMB 277 million from SYP Kangqiao Autoglass Co., Ltd., (“Kangqiao Autoglass”) was located in No. 18, General Avenue, Jingang New Area, Jiangxia District, Wuhan City. With 10.4 hectare of covering area and totally 186 employees, its major infrastructure was completed in January 2015 in first-stage project, and the installation as well as commissioning of equipment was started in May. It was set up and put into operation by the end of January 2016, with an annual production capacity of one million sets of automotive glass. WSYPA introduced world class automobile equipment production line such as Bystronic pretreatment line, Glasstech tempering deep bending furnace, Taifin continuous drying and bending furnace as well as related connection equipment of automotive glass production, among which tempered blacklite adopts continuous production and the laminated glass adopts connecting and manipulator production, with a high degree of automation. The main equipment, DBO-4 glass toughening furnace, high speed toughening furnace of side glass and windshield drying and bending furnace, has been equipment with mature technology and stable technique. The products produced can meet the demand of automobile manufacturers. Technology Center located in Kangqiao Autoglass is in charge of new product R&D and keeps a close eye on OEM R&D., the mass production takes place in WSYPA. In terms of the purchasing of raw materials and accessories, taking advantage of scale, Kangqiao Autoglass unifies the purchase price, which reduces the procurement cost to the maximum extent. WSYPA will tread on the heels of the building of Central China Auto City, promote the layout of automobile glass in domestic market, build a development model with low cost, reduce the logistic cost to promote competitiveness and achieve a win-win result in supply and marketing.
